I came to Josh for my first tattoo. I was rather apprehensive about getting one but Josh is very experienced and I felt very comfortable. He did a brilliant job and I am very pleased with the result. I would definitely recommend Beyond the Needle if you are looking for professionalism and quality!

Im not normally one for reviews but I just had to give Josh 5 stars.
Ive wanted a certain tattoo doing for years but never got round to it. Had plenty of small tattoos but nothing as big as this so was a little apprehensive.

Anyway Josh popped up on my TikTok and I just knew he was the man to do the job, and my he did not disappoint. I booked a double day session with him and told he my ideas. I knew roughly what I wanted but Josh out performed all my expectations with it and it is so much better in real life then the design.

There is so much detail that unfortunately we were not able to finish in the two days (not through us both trying mind you).

If you want black and grey realism then Josh is your man and I can’t recommend him enough.

Ill be booking soon for the last few finishing touches and then again for more work when I need it

5* Very friendly and helpful with everything. Took my thoughts on board and did what he could to get the look and size I was looking for. Would highly recommend! Definitely will be seeing Josh again for any future tattoos/touch ups.
